how do young people perceive their living environment?
A second part of the art project ‘Labyrinth’ consists of videos made by the young people from the three cities. Young people from Berlin Tempelhof-Schöneberg and Villa El Salvador and Amstelveen are invited to present their cities to others. They will show where they live, what their living environment is and what’s important for them in the city where they live. Through the ‘livestream’ camera you can watch the videos all day on June 17th. It is also intended to include the images presented by the twin cities (archive photos, personal photos of previous events…). For this video project, volunteers will be invited through announcements in newspapers and media of Amstelveen, Berlin Tempelhof-Schöneberg and Villa El Salvador. Rhode wants to use a well-known medium and much used by young people to streamline a better mutual understanding. The question for the young people, hence, could be “show us where do you feel at home.”
